Job Description

 

Provide IT services to entire end to end supply chain by collaborating with business partner to set commonly agreed objectives; identify, prioritize and implement projects; work with regional and global supply chain teams to implement strategies at local level; manage two direct reports

 Main Duties/Responsibilities :

•Responsible for providing IT services to the entire end-to-end supply chain, including manufacturing: set commonly agreed objectives; identify, prioritize and  implement projects; manage expectations and issues

•Pro-actively work with regional and global supply chain and manufacturing teams to understand and implement regional and global strategies and projects for the Cape Town and East London based supply chain and manufacturing teams

•Manage staff across two locations

•Maintain business expertise of the entire end-to-end supply chain and manufacturing

•Liaise with external business partners regarding supply chain matters

Qualifications/Experience/Requirements :

•Business expertise around end-to-end supply chain

•Project management skills for medium to large projects

•Good technical knowledge of the relevant supply chain technologies, including ERP systems (currently BPCS) and MES systems

•People management skills

•Good communication skills on a technical and non-technical level

Desired Experience

 Comprehensive experience working with IT systems in a Supply Chain/Manufacturing environment. Line management an advantage.
